Good Friday (from the now obsolete senses pious, holy of the word "good"),^[1]^[2] also known as Holy Friday, Great Friday, is a religious holiday observed primarily by Christians commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. The holiday is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday, and may coincide with the Jewish observance of Passover.

Based on the details of the Canonical gospels, the Crucifixion of Jesus was most probably on a Friday (John 19:42).^[3]The estimated year of Good Friday is AD 33, by two different groups, and originally as AD 34 by Isaac Newton via the differences between the Biblical and Julian calendars and the crescent of the moon.^[4]^[5]^[6]^[7]^[8]^[9] A third method, using a completely different astronomical approach based on a lunar Crucifixion darkness and eclipse model (consistent withApostle Peter's reference to a "moon of blood" in Acts 2:20) points to Friday, 3 April AD 33.^[10]^[11]

i mean, in some pics he looks nigh on 12, and in others he looks like the sexy man man he was in the movie.

Yesterday, I went to the bank (ostensibly) to get a new atm card because i'd thought i'd lost mine - i need a new wallet like yesterday yall (!). but the loan services guy - you know the people that sit at the desks and dont deal with the little money, but the big money...he's all formal and what not and well he asked if he could help me. normally i would probably give a tight-lipped smile and politely refuse, just wait for the regular teller. but i said 'why not' and i, well i was in a rush, but i just sighed and composed myself and happily said okay.

well i sit down, just wanting to hurry the process along, cancel my old card, and get movin. so i am sitting there watching him type in my info. and then he just stops. he looks at me all funny - and i'm like shit - some lucky bastard has cleaned out my account - and some crazy scheme flashes through my mind.

He turns around slowly and cocks his head and he says "Who ARE you?" Huh? I am confused. Who am I? Uh - you have my passport in your hand (I need a new license too). He says "No. I mean who ARE you? What do you DO?". Huh? I smile and take the bait "I am a Superbeing in a human body" I say, and I wink and smile again. He smiles back now.

Well, he starts reading my fortune i guess you could say. he is sitting there in a suit and telling my about my past present and delightful future as if he were a gypsy. just as if i was sitting in some physic fair. he does everything short of reading my palm. He says 'i dont know why i'm telling you all this but i guess it is for some good reason'???.

i mean, he read me like a book. it was so amazing. it was a so special, so mystical. i mean like yall - this is crazy. this was in the bank. from a guy in a suit. !! so weird.

i asked him if this was usual for him?? he said no. it was very rare. but he felt he had to share what it was he was telling me. (which was awesome by the way - i shall keep that part secret/sacred).

i asked him if he was an Angel. He said no. "No, I am Just Nicholas".

Well, i love you Just Nicholas.

I think i will bake him some cupcakes.

now 4 months into Barack's administration, i have all of these feelings. i like to work with the tv or radio on during the day. i favor 1. internet radio because it eliminates the junk from my mental space and 2. international news throughout the day. i prefer south african and french stations (go verizon!). a few weeks ago i was watching some report about the g20 conference and i was thinking back to what america was like pre-Obama, during Bush's reign of stupid. i was thinking back to how angry we were, how hot. how bothered. man, we were so much more fun. and how i thought this was a very good thing. Americans were approaching their hot buttons and so spitting mad many were almost ready to hit the streets and demand change. it was very exciting. now, if then we were at an 8, we are now at a 2, with the possible exception of the over-taxed. here we are amost in june, and this has all but dissapeared. i find myself in this conundrum - how can we enjoy the fabulousness, the flyness, the fame of leadership under Barack and on the other side be bold and daring enough to demand what it is we need. we are getting apathetic...again. Barack is not the end all (he's just a politician, albeit a fine sexy one, but only a politico afterall). Where do we begin? How can I support Barack while still takin it to the streets?
